Arlo Parks is trapped in a surreal apartment as she makes an attempt (or two, or three) to mend her rocky relationship. As she cooks meal after meal, she ends up with a feast fit for a king. Maybe not hers though. The production is bright and colorful, the background cartoony and almost Seussian.
With a lot of production tricks and ideas packed into one music video, director Bedroom does not pull any punches when it comes to style. Utilizing records and circular camera movement, the piece feels well suited to the track, creating an intimate and slightly horrific experience.
