Announcing Basata’s launch of kiosk POS machines across Egypt, this colourful spot shows an ill-equipped merchant experiencing what can only be described as a catastrophic reversal of business growth.
Created by DDB Egypt, and directed by Omar Booray through Everyone, the film portrays the chap’s dismay when each time he disappoints his customers by not being able to offer a handy Basata-enabled transaction his kiosk starts to crumble and close in on him.
Ultimately, he does the right thing, gets the tech and is rewarded by the opportunity to perform a jolly jig with an outsized panda and a gorilla. Random.
