This encouraging and informative campaign, titled Be the Early Bird, was created by Leith Agency and directed by Kristian Andrews through Studio AKA, for the Scottish Government’s Early Cancer Detection initiative.
It sees four health-concerned birds fretting over lumps, bumps, and other possible cancer symptoms. Their friends and family encourage them to get it checked out, as an early diagnosis can mean better treatment options.
The campaign uses colourful animation and endearing characters to portray a topic as serious as cancer in a relatable and lighthearted fashion, helping people to see the brighter side of facing their worries head-on.
