You see a piano, covered in graffiti, by a river. The only option is to sit at the bench and play the music on the stand.
As a grifter robot walks through the forest, he finds a miraculous instrument. With strings that descend into the murky waters below, he begins to plunk out the cords of Geronimo. The strings plunge into the river and reverberate with a kind of magic that comes from music, drawing out schools of fish, sharks, and even a whale.
Strange and wonderful, the imagery for the Duvchi promo is that of a post-apocalyptic world, one without humans but with their remnants. Directed by Simon Stalenhag and produced by Salomonsson Agency, the piece shows off what can be done with a great idea and a moving track. VFX work for Geronimo was done by Goodbye Kansas Studios.
