You don’t even have to have synaesthesia to taste the colours in this gorgeous music video directed by Kristian Mercado Figueroa, they are just mouth-wateringly good.
Created pro-bono by Droga5, in collaboration with the Ad Council, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and The Jed Foundation (JED), it’s part of the 'Seize the Awkward' campaign, which aims to get young people connecting with those who maybe suffering from mental health issues exacerbated by social distancing.
A chromatically crazy adventure in animation, mixed media and found footage, the promo for Whatever Gets You Talking features rapper Akinyemi suggesting the variety of ways you can be there – without being there – for a mate in distress.
A host of digital stars join in the fun including Meghan Trainor, Addison Rae, Avery Cyrus, Bryce Xavier, James Henry, The McFarlands, Molly Burke, mxmtoon and brothers Zach Valentine and Pat Ramirez.
