Dewy eyes lock across the room; hands brush; kisses follow; kissing, kissing and more kissing.
Fall in love; fall into a bubble bath together; fall through the tub, down into a watery world, flailing in lust’s liquid mysteries; water turns to tears as the bathwater of passion turns cold.
This elegant film, Belong Together, is richly layered with love-based metaphor and plenty of necking. It was written and directed by Malone with the help of collaborator Steve Kenny and marks luxury Irish department store Brown Thomas's first foray into branded content.
Following a pair from first meeting, through break up and memories of kissing back to make-up kissing, the emotional film features a superb dreamlike underwater sequence, fine acting from the two leads and the lush scenery of Ireland’s County Wicklow.
It’s so gorgeous you might want to just pucker up and snog the screen afterwards.
