Directed by AB/CD/CD through Le Pac, this mesmerising music video for Jain’s Night Heights explores themes of desire as the star reveals and toys with a different facet of herself.
The singer collaborated with choreographer Laura Bachman for her first on-screen dance performance. Her slinky moves express themes of desire and shifting identities, inspired by a devilish tarot card reading and a certain doppelgänger banger scene from a classic sci-fi sequel.
Expanding on the concept behind the video AB/CD/CD commented: “We all agreed on a central idea: to construct a surreal, minimalist world, drawing inspiration from Moebius [a.k.a the fantasy comic artist Jean Giraud] and the erotic scene from Blade Runner 2049. These retro-futuristic references align perfectly with the album's visual aesthetics. The interplay of bodies in the Blade Runner scene became a key inspiration, reflecting Jain's narrative of embracing desire in the song. We brought this theme to life using a playful alter ego who both tempts and transforms her."
