In an interesting departure for a beverage commercial, this elegant film comprises a series of tableaux staged like paintings from old masters.
Each of the beautifully art-directed portraits in the somewhat unsnappily titled What’s More Unique Than Your Home-brewed Coffee, depicts a slightly eccentric individual preparing to enjoy their favourite cuppa.
Even if they make mistakes and slop it all over the place they are haughtily proud of their home-brewing rituals. Produced by TopCut Modiano, it’s a sumptuous little treat of a film.
