VLAM, the Agricultural Marketing Board in Flanders, wanted to show that good old dairy isn't done for yet, even in the face of the many plant-based alternatives.
To do so, they turned to agency Via Victor Antwerp and Czar directing duo SALSA [aka of Diego Santana Claudino & Guto Azevedo] who between them have created a near-two minute film that shows how a milk-based moment can potentially inform a person's future.
As a young man and women reach for the same bottle of milk in the supermarket their hands touch, a smile is exchanged and then, over the next 90-seconds their life together unfolds.
The central message? That milk is the foundation of so many things; a good breakfast, a refreshing ice cream in the park, Sunday pancakes, but it can also be tied to the milestones in our lives.
