The search for water on Mars has been a focus of exploration programs since the start of the 21st century. And it looks like Sodastream has just found it!

OK, so their Super Bowl commercial, through Goodby Silverstein and Partners might not be the most scientifically accurate document, but what it lacks in credibility it certainly makes up for in laughs.

Directed by Hungry Man's Bryan Buckley, Water On Mars sees a pair of astronauts discover the titular liquid in a martian puddle... only to have their scientific hopes dashed by colleague Mark.

Matching big-budget visuals with genuine chuckles, and with a lovely teaser starring Bill Nye, this fizzy campaign will certainly be a refreshing treat on the day of the Big Game.
