Next year is 30 years since the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund was founded in Sweden.
Since then, hundreds of thousands of Swedish families have been given the opportunity to stay together during difficult times. The history of how the project began is the touching story of the Lederhausen family, which is poignantly recreated in this film created by NORD/DDB Stockholm and directed by Simon Kaijser through Social Club Stockholm.
Paul Lederhausen, the founder of Swedish McDonald’s, and his wife Irene Lederhausen tragically lost their daughter Erica when she was only 16-years-old. Erica's death inspired her parents to create a project in her memory; Ronald McDonald House.
