Berlin-based agency Impolite Culture has cast actor Aggy Adams (World War Z) as a journalist sent to interview an enigmatic celebrity at a luxury hotel in Milan.
Co-produced by Borotalco, and directed by Björn Swoboda and Eike Fredrik Schulz with lush cinematography by Marco de Pasquale, the sensual and intriguing 10-minute film sees Adams engaging with the mysterious interviewee through a closed door then slipping into reverie during which she dreams – or does she? – of erotic encounters with a mysterious couple and a rather alluring photocopy machine.
Ultimately it transpires she's been chatting with the perfume itself.
Retterspitz, a traditional 120-year old German pharmaceutical brand, wanted an unusual campaign to promote its Eau de Parfum JUNIPER, and decided to pose the question, ‘what does a perfume do to you and the world around you when you wear it?’
